Jubileum bijeenkomst groot succes

Op 2 december 2021 stonden we als Grootouders voor het Klimaat stil bij ons 5-jarig bestaan. Niet echt reden tot feest natuurlijk want onze missie is nog niet voltooid. Toch werden de meer dan honderd aanwezigen zeer gesterkt door de inhoud én het elan van de diverse bijdragen.

Sprekers in volgorde van opkomst: Philip Beekman (Grootouders voor het Klimaat met een lustrumrede), Ed Nijpels (voortgang Klimaatakkoord), Laura de Vries (Jonge Klimaat Beweging), Frans Timmermans (Europese Commissie) en Joris Thijssen (PvdA). En niet te vergeten Klimaatzanger Keimpe de Jong.

Verder werd het nieuwe boekje met brieven aan onze kleinkinderen aangekondigd. Nu al te bestellen via dit formulier.

En tenslotte was er aandacht voor grootouder Dick van Elk, die onlangs de volledige Climate Miles naar Glasgow heeft gelopen en volgend jaar een Conference of the People (COP) wil organiseren tijdens de Conference of the Parties in Egypte (COP27).
